Anyone else love a good reason to go shopping, especially for some new clothes?! Ooo me, me, me, pick me!! In case you couldn’t tell, I love to shop! One of my favorite things to buy is athletic wear. Of course, I love the Athleta and Lululemon. However, my wallet, not so much…
Drum roll please…
Old Navy is my favorite place to find both stylish and affordable athletic wear. When I was going through a real funk and skipping the gym and workouts, I needed a quick spark to get me back into it! Of course I thought going shopping would be the perfect ammo to get me back to the gym!
Old Navy activewear provides both comfort and style at the perfect price point. My favorite is the high-waisted 7/8 length legging. For me personally, the high-waisted legging is a must. If not, I’m stuck pulling up my pants the entire 50 minutes of Zumba. It’s not so fun, especially mid-shimmy. For those doing intense cardio classes, I highly recommend the high-waisted legging. You’ll thank me later!
In regards to tops, they carry really cute graphic tanks. For example,”messy bun, get it done.” I’d buy it! The go-dry tanks are extremely breathable and don’t feel heavy during those harcore HIIT workouts! They’re perfect for someone like me who sweats like no other. I mean, pools of sweat! Anyways.. The cotton tanks are ultra-light as well. As for me personally, I’m not a fan of working out in long sleeves. However, they are the perfect layering option until you warm up those muscles. Then I usually ditch the sleeves and tie it around my waist.
Finally, Old Navy offers a wide variety of support and coverage for sports bras. My favorite are the caged straps. They don’t offer much support, but idle for low impact workouts. I usually wear mine on my weight lifting-only days. I save the heavy duty ones for Zumba class and basketball games.
Old Navy is a really great affordable athletic wear option. The prices range from $7-$50. At those prices, you could buy a few different workout outfits all for under $100! Not to mention, Old Navy is always running great sales and offering extra savings with coupons! Who doesn’t love coupons?!
Where do you like to shop for your athletic wear? What’re some of your favorites? I’d love to hear about more stylish, affordable options!
